Four buys content PR experts
Colman Getty sold to Four Communications.
We are very pleased to have advised Dotti irving and Liz Sich, the vendors of Colman Getty, the independent PR and communications consultancy, on the sale of a majority shareholding to Four Communications Group, the independent integrated marketing services group based in London.
Following the deal, the consultancy has been renamed Four Colman Getty and will operate from Four Communications Group’s headquarters in Leicester Square, alongside Four’s other specialist PR teams in property, financial services, public sector, sports, travel, education & transportation.
Four Colman Getty will be fully integrated into Four Communications’ UK operations with a view to expanding its client base in culture, campaigning and event management. Four Colman Getty acts for a range of high profile clients in the arts, media and public sector including the Man Booker Prize for Fiction, the Library of Birmingham, RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Foyles, Jeffrey Archer, the Cheltenham Literature and Science Festivals, JK Rowling’s charity Lumos, Oxfam, and the Duchess of Cambridge’s charity, Action on Addiction, among many others.
Founded in 1987 by former Penguin PR Director Dotti Irving, Four Colman Getty has become the UK’s pre-eminent PR adviser to the culture and arts sector.
